  • The Cyber Fusion Innovation Center (CFIC) is a DEFENSEWERX Innovation Hub in partnership with the U.S. Army Cyber Command via a Partnership Intermediary Agreement. Established in December 2020, CFIC’s mission is to aid the U.S. Army Cyber Command in defending the Department of Defense Information Network, delivering cyberspace effects, and rapidly developing and deploying cyberspace capabilities.

  • DEFENSEWERX (formerly the Doolittle Institute) was established in 2012 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit and is headquartered in Niceville, Florida. The DEFENSEWERX mission is to cultivate a vibrant ecosystem by shaping successful collisions to innovate and commercialize technologies that benefit the Warfighter. DEFENSEWERX has several innovation hubs located across the USA, one of which is CFIC.

  • A Partnership Intermediary Agreement (PIA) is a contract used by the federal government to collaborate with non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and industry partners. Unlike traditional federal contracts, grants, or cooperative agreements, a PIA facilitates the transfer of innovative technologies, research, and expertise between government agencies and external entities. This type of agreement is designed to foster partnerships that support research, technology development, and commercialization efforts, helping bridge the gap between government innovations and practical, real-world applications.

  • Constant innovation ensures that the Army Cyber Command stays ahead of the competition. Scouting, researching, developing, and implementing tools and resources for the warfighter across traditional and non-traditional avenues is made possible by our unique positioning within the industry and the vast ecosystem that we have created.

  • Our Ecosystem is built on partnerships. We are excited to partner with industry and academia to support the process of innovating. We rely on our partners. Join the CFIC Ecosystem today, and together we can work to solve our nation’s cyber warfare problems.

  • There are none! Just be excited to get started!
